Getting around
Gas prices (petrol to you and me) are much lower in the US so you can do a lot of miles for very little money.

Shopping
Plenty of bargains to be had in the many shopping malls. Clothing in particular is so much cheaper than in the US to be sure to leave some space in the suitcase for some bargains to take home!

Dining out
One thing you can't avoid when you go on holiday is eating! Food is plentiful in the USA and cheap compared to the UK. There are plenty of fine dining restaurants where you can pay $20-30 for an entree but you also have plenty of quality, value options as well and huge variety and choice.

Lunch at many restaurants and golf clubs will set you back no more than $9 or $10 for the most part and you get quality food and huge portions.

Golf equipment
As a general rule if you are looking to buy the very latest you are not going to save a lot. Retail prices in the US I would say are comparable with the best online deals in the UK. Where you can save is on end of line deals and cheap brand clubs where there is much better choice.
