Wild Dunes Resort has two courses, the Harbor course and the spectacular Links course. Other courses north of Charleston are Charleston National, Dunes West, Rivertowne Country Club and Patriot's Point golf links.

West of the city are Links at Stone Ferry, Coosaw Creek, Legend Oaks, Pine Forest and Shadowmoss Plantation.

Just 30 minutes South of Charleston is Kiawah Island with 4 courses on the island including the world famous Ocean Course as well as Oak Point nearby.
